Your Strengths, Your Goals, Your Plan

At The Family Network, Dr. Heller uses an integrated, systemic approach to counseling. Rather than focusing on problems alone, she invites you to define what isn’t working in your life and to discover the possibilities for making it work. Together, you will identify your strengths, access your resources, and take action toward the goals that matter most to you.

What to expect when you work with her:

  • A whole-picture conversation.

Your first meeting is a clinical interview that looks beyond the individual to the context of your life, whether that’s your family, school, or workplace.

  • A plan built with you.

Once your concerns are clearly understood, you and Dr. Heller will develop a plan together.

  • A strength-based approach.

Research supports this method for minimizing limitations and weaknesses while helping people experience real hope for more positive outcomes.

  • The right support for your situation.

If your circumstances call for something beyond this approach alone, Dr. Heller will refer you to other professionals and work alongside them to find the best path forward.
