Trust and support in psychotherapy with Dr. Randy Heller
"The principal aim of psychotherapy is not to transport one to an impossible state of happiness, but to help the client acquire steadfastness and patience in the face of suffering."
C.G. Jung

Life doesn't hand out warnings before it changes. A relationship shifts. A family reorganizes itself. A quiet sense that something isn't working anymore grows louder. Psychotherapy is a place to make sense of all of it — with someone trained to help you see more clearly, and to help you move forward with intention instead of just reacting.

As a licensed marriage and family therapist and mental health counselor based in New York, Dr. Randy Heller works with individuals, couples, and families across New York, Florida, and Connecticut. Her approach is relational at its core: she believes people are best understood not in isolation, but in the context of the relationships and life circumstances that shape them.

How Dr. Heller Works

A Relationship-Centered Approach

Much of Dr. Heller's practice supports people moving through major transitions — separation, divorce, and changes in family structure among them. Rather than treating symptoms and challenges in isolation, she looks at the roles, patterns, and dynamics underneath them, helping clients build the clarity and skills to move forward with more stability.
